Kaffir Lime Tree
So many of the recipes with an Asian influence call for Kaffir lime leaves but I have yet to come across these in any of my local grocery stores. However, I recently did come across a Kaffir Lime tree for sale through www.whiteflowerfarm.com. It arrived about 2 weeks ago looking a little frail but it is now thriving. Currently, the plant is probably only 15 inches or so but the description says that it will actually grow to be 4 to 5 feet. I’ll update the picture when it gets large enough so I feel comfortable to use some of the leaves in a recipe.
